I remember Gray's influence on my feminist education, especially during our participation at the Nat'l. YWCA Convention at Notre Dame University, where I witnessed little old Ladies in tennis shoes, fight to maintain every word of the Imperative.

And I remembered Gray when Obama won his landslide, and when Jesse Jackson cried tears of vindication.

I think I can even see her smile for signs of accomplishing our mission.
